character development specialist, adults and kids LA Film Connection - Mentor- Producing/Directing Mentorship I have been coaching over 10 years in one on one, small groups and large group workshops with children from 6 years old to adults and the one thing I know is that every actor works independently in anaylizing and breaking down scripts and developing character. Being the whole character is the only thing that matters in playing a role. Understanding how to find that character is a process and can be learned with the right excercises. I have taught at schools, organizations, private homes and at the Michigan Opera Theater working with film and theater actors on developing character for roles. Most of these workshops for me usually result in working more with each individual actor so they learn what works for them to find out who they are in the life of their character. I have clients across the country and have decided to open my doors to all actors who want to enhance their abilities.. My online workshops are just like my personal in studio sessions as they are taught via webcam at set appointment times with each actor or group.
