George Daniel Arnold was a master plasterer and 33rd Degree Mason whose major work was creating the base plaster ad lime foundation for the one of the 3 largest old masters fresco paintings in the U.S. He was the plasterer for Master Muralist, Hubert Massey and his historic 88x12 foot fresco painting is located at the Institute in Flint, MI. Georges hands are on every square inch of the painting as his team prepared the plaster under his direction but George at the age of 80 plus years was the only person laying the plaster onto the wall.
